This ensemble, led by its remarkable founder Ryan Whyman, offers an intriguing mix of musical styles and genres under the banner of “Genre-bending chamber music.” They’ve become a regular fixture on our Music at Noon series, and we’ve decided it’s high time we feature them on an evening concert.

The Whyman Project is an exciting music collaboration that uses strings, a jazz rhythm section and piano to create an intriguing mashup of classical, jazz, pop, rock, and film music, all while redefining and expanding the piano quintet and jazz genres. The eclectic brainchild of arranger/composer Ryan Whyman, the ensemble has performed with international cellist Yo-Yo Ma and at the renowned jazz club, Blue whale.
